Due to continued national growth we are looking to appoint the role of Sales Coordinator. Working closely with Customers – new and existing, External & Internal Sales team, Inventory Team and our Warehouse team, this role is largely viewed as an important resource for our sales team ensuring we deliver the best possible customer experience for our clients. With interactions with our clients at every step of the sales, manufacturing and delivery cycle, success is measured simply on how satisfied we can keep both the client and our highly valued Sales team. Key duties and responsibilities will include: Processing customer orders received by phone, fax, email or counter Identifying customer needs re deliveries, products, stock availability, pricing, etc. Handling customer complaints in a professional manner; investigate, negotiate and respond in a timely manner Processing of customer payments by phone or counter Maintaining flexibility in handling ongoing customer sales related queries by directing technical Processing and follow-up of quotes relating to a sale Maintain and update and/or notify Team leader/Office Manager of changes to customer contact details Recording, matching, checking and filing accounts, invoices, orders, requisitions, end of day banking, etc Support and assist Counter Sales, reception and co-workers as and when required Be proactive within the Sales team providing good support, morale, passion and a fun environment to work in Provide back-up support for any position within the Branch when required (subject to relevant skills and knowledge of the role) Ideally suiting individuals with experience in a similar role across the building and supply industry, those with a previous experience with aluminium, metals, doors & windows will be highly regarded. This role could equally suit mid career applicants or those starting out wanting to forge a career with the possibility of two roles available in 2025 that could cater for those at different stages in their career.
