We are seeking a Junior Finished Artist to be a part of the studio based in Clayton South (Dandenong South in 2025). The role of Finished Artist at Design Group requires you to play a crucial role in the final stages of design and production, ensuring that our creative team's concepts are executed to the highest standard and prepared for print and digital mediums. This role requires a meticulous eye for detail, strong technical skills, and proficiency in graphic design software.
The applicant should enjoy working on catalogues, product packaging, and the more technical side of design.
Responsibilities: Prepare files for prepress production, including colour separation and file optimisation for printing.Conduct thorough quality checks on artwork files to ensure accuracy, consistency, and adherence to brand guidelines and project requirements.Be able to work autonomously and in a team environment.Manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritising tasks to meet deadlines without compromising quality.We are always seeking the best people for our team. The successful candidate will possess the following skills and attributes: Proficiency in graphic design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign).Strong written and verbal communication skills.A passion for producing high-standard artwork.Problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot technical issues independently.Organise and manage digital assets, including images, fonts, and design files, adhering to file-naming conventions and version control protocols.Excellent attention to detail and ability to maintain consistency across multiple projects.Ability to follow/understand brand guidelines.Self-driven and open to learning new skills.A good understanding of the print production process would be an advantage.Qualifications: Tertiary level education in Graphic Design is mandatory.
