To enable our clients to utilise their data for projects and on-farm decision making, we are seeking an experienced Data Engineer to join our Data Business team.The role is varied and will require the client to work as part of a team and to engage with our software developers and also directly with our clients to deliver required outcomes.We are seeking someone who has the following:Technology and coding experience across SQL, AWS, APIs is strongly considered.Experience in scripting language highly regarded (Python, TSQL, PL/SQL)Maintaining and building end-to-end ETL processes across multiple platforms/data sourcesGIS experience will be highly regardedCreating SQL scripts and stored procedures to assist in the ETL pipelineAdvanced data engineering skills which have been used to build and maintain performance reporting outcomesExperience in an operational focused service delivery environment would be beneficialExperience in incorporating best practice governance processes for data management and performance reporting in multi-service organisationsExperience with data analytics and reporting tools (e.g. Power BI) and knowledge of standard metrics and key performance indicators would be beneficial but not essential.Experience in advising on data architecture, data models, data migration, integration and pipelines and data analysis will be highly regarded.About you:Have at least 3+ years of experience in a similar data role, particularly those with a focus on establishing and maintaining the infrastructure required to support a data analytics functionHave excellent communication skillsBe highly organised and have the ability to manage multiple projects at one timeBe proactive and solutions focusedEnjoy being part of a teamHave a good understanding or interest in the agricultural and food & beverage industriesReporting to the General Manager - Data Business, the role is full time and based in our Osborne Park office.
