THE ROLE
Director of People and Culture (3 days flexible)
Develop and implement strategic workforce initiatives and provide strategic advice to attract, retain, and develop a workforce and organisational culture aligned with the College’s mission and values.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
The Director of People and Culture serves as a trusted advisor to the Principal and other Executive leaders. This role is responsible for overseeing all aspects of people and culture at Charlton Christian College. Responsibilities include:
Working with the Executive team to form and implement strategies for staff engagement and development that align with the College’s purpose, strategic vision and cultural behaviours.
Ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations, and fostering a positive work environment that supports the College’s values and purpose.
Playing a facilitative role in recruitment, advising staff and leadership on HR matters.
Being on call to work with the Principal and relevant Executive members to address critical HR matters as they arise.
