Independent Support Management Therapy Centre (ISM) is seeking a dedicated and qualified Psychologist to join our dynamic multidisciplinary team in Rockhampton. As a psychologist with ISM, you will be pivotal in assessing, diagnosing, and treating various mental health concerns within a diverse patient base. This includes NDIS clients, private clients, and individuals with Mental Health Care Plans. Your role will involve providing comprehensive psychological assessments and therapy sessions, contributing to treatment plans, and collaborating closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure holistic client care.

Key Responsibilities:
* Conducting psychological assessments and developing personalised treatment plans for clients with mental health disorders.
* Implementing evidence-based therapy interventions to achieve client-specific goals.
* Providing psychological services to NDIS clients, private clients, and clients under Mental Health Care Plans.
* Collaborating closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure integrated care and holistic treatment approaches.
* Providing education and support to clients, families, and caregivers regarding psychological interventions and strategies.
Qualifications and Requirements:
* Bachelor's or Master's degree in psychology from an accredited institution.
* Registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) or eligibility for registration.
* Proven clinical experience in assessing and treating mental health disorders across various age groups.
* Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
* Commitment to continuous professional development and staying updated with current practices in psychology.
* Experience working with NDIS clients, private clients, and clients under Mental Health Care Plans.
* Interest and experience in conducting Functional Capacity Assessments for NDIS participants (not essential).
* Experience working in a multidisciplinary healthcare setting.
* Knowledge of relevant therapeutic techniques and technologies in psychology.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
