Redpath Partners are exclusively partnering with a global leader in food processing, specialising in meat and value-added products, is seeking a Construction Project Manager to oversee new builds, extensions, and refurbishments across processing facilities, and distribution centres.

The Role
Leading an in-house construction team, the Construction Project Manager will be responsible for end-to-end project delivery, ensuring efficiency, compliance, and high-quality execution. Ideal candidates will have experience with Tier 1 or 2 contractors and a strong background in managing complex construction projects.
Key Responsibilities
* Oversee project execution, ensuring timely completion and adherence to company policies and industry standards.
* Develop and maintain schedules for equipment and materials, coordinating deliveries to prevent delays.
* Manage project documentation, including contracts, drawings, and correspondence, ensuring streamlined access and control.
* Track project progress, schedule meetings, prepare reports, and analyse data to identify potential issues.
* Support the tendering process by preparing documents, liaising with subcontractors, and assisting with evaluations.
* Prepare financial reports, cost estimates, and supplier comparisons to optimize budget efficiency.
* Supervise on-site operations, ensuring safety, quality, and compliance with company and regulatory standards.
Compliance & Safety
* Implement process improvements to enhance project efficiency.
* Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and values.
* Ensure compliance with Quality, Workplace Health & Safety (WH&S), and Environmental Management standards.
* Report incidents and hazards immediately and take corrective action where necessary.
About You
* Circa 5 years project management experience.
* Relevant qualifications or experience in project management or a related field.
* Proven experience with industrial or distribution centre projects.
* Strong background in construction, ideally within a Tier 1 or 2 contracting environment.
* Proven expertise in project management principles and methodologies.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
* Strong communication, problem-solving, and negotiation skills.
* Ability to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and work independently or within a team.
