We have a permanent position based at Springvale, VIC for a highly motivated and talented Electrical Engineer to join our team. About the Role You will be at the forefront of the Electrical Engineering Design projects. You will be leading the project team and in charge of analyzing, designing, evaluating in order to engage in identification of the problems and right solutions to the customers. You will also provide extraordinary, commercially focused engineering services in delivering comprehensive electrical engineering solutions and ensuring compliance with Australian Engineering Regulations and Compliances. Key Responsibilities: Lead the design and project team, coach and mentor the team membersReview, Interpret electrical and electronic circuit blueprints, single line diagrams and schematics, identify risks to ensure project success and deliverablesPlan and organize the projects, ensuring to meet regulatory compliance with the Australian Standards with particular focus on Electrical Enclosure Assembly Standards AS/ NZS 61439 and solar Installation Standards AS/NZS 4777Conduct a comprehensive feasibility studies, design calculations, grid connection design review and engineering audit to meet the DNSPs' technical requirementsKeep updated with the latest rules in Grid Connections, ensure the design framework are comply with industry standards, regulations and best practices Your skills and attributes: Degree in Electrical Engineering or aboveStrong understanding of Grid Connection Processes, designs and regulatory complianceAt least 2 solid working experiences in Electrical Engineering roleStrong experience in Grid Connection Application review of principle of technical standardsProficiency in electrical design software tools (eg. AutoCAD, SolidWorks, StrechUp etc)Excellent problem solving skills, able to think critically and strategicallyStrong communication and interpersonal skills To be eligible to apply for the position, you must be an Australian.
