Sales Representative - Building & Timber Supplies
Our company is Western Australia's leading privately owned business, with 48 years of continuous customer service to the trade, timber, building, and construction industry businesses throughout Western Australia.
We are seeking a Sales Representative who strives for excellence in customer service with timber, building, and construction products. This is a hands-on role for someone with a passion for the industry.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and execute a strategic plan to identify and seize new business opportunities within the residential building sector.
* Utilise your extensive network to establish connections with key decision-makers among the top 10-20 builders in Perth.
* Present our comprehensive range of timber and hardware products effectively, emphasising their value proposition to potential clients.
* Build and maintain relationships with small to medium Builders as well as large Corporate Builders.
* Foster relationships with new and existing clients to ensure satisfaction and loyalty, contributing to overall growth objectives.
* Proactively identify and pursue new sales prospects, driving significant contribution to sales targets.
* Sell across a range of building supplies, including Roof Timber, Truss Roof, Wall Framing, Flooring Systems, Doors, Second Fix, Hardies Products, and Brickies Hardware.
Qualifications and Experience:
* Proven track record as a Sales Representative or Account Manager in the building materials industry.
* Established network and relationships with top residential builders in Perth.
* In-depth knowledge of timber and hardware products, with the ability to communicate their features and benefits persuasively.
* Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to cultivate strong client relationships.
* Results-driven with a self-motivated approach to achieving and exceeding sales targets.
Requirements:
* Established relationships with Builders in WA.
* Prior sales experience within the building materials sector is essential.
* In-depth knowledge of the local building sector to foster connections and relationships with local builders.
* Demonstrated success in business development and achieving sales growth.
* Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively within a team environment.
* Effective time management skills to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines.
* Proficient IT skills for streamlined communication and reporting.
