The Site Manager will support a range of client facing activities and managing the performance of a team of technicians/subcontractors. This role is still hands on in supervising trades on the job and ensuring the completion of project works on site.
Here’s a snapshot of your day:
* Site set outs
* Program & sequencing updating
* Contractor/supplier procurement, programming & liaising
* Contract and HSEQ administration
* Material take-offs when required
* Quality control
* Detailing
* Material ordering
* Daily diary log and notes
* Defect inspections and reports
* Invoice checking and coding when required
The Ideal Candidate
* A minimum of 2-3 years' experience in a service or carpentry trade role
* WPCG or working on a fuel site experience is an advantage, however training can be supplied
* Ability to understand and interpret construction drawings
* Ability to manage and liaise professionally with Subcontractors and Clients on site
* Excellent organisational, planning and programming skills
* Strong communication and conflict resolution skills
* An innate eye for detail
* An understanding of OHS regulatory codes
* Proficient in using Microsoft Word, Excel, Project, Outlook, Power Point
* White Card
* Relevant trade qualifications
* Police Check Clearance
