Avid Constructions and Contracting is seeking a talented Cabinet Maker to join our team in Ballina NSW 2478. As our Cabinet Maker, you will play a vital part in crafting high-quality custom furniture and cabinetry to meet the needs of our clients.
What you'll be doing
1. Producing custom cabinets, furniture, and other woodwork according to client specifications
2. Operating power tools and machinery to shape, assemble, and finish woodwork
3. Reading and interpreting technical drawings and designs
4. Collaborating with the design team to ensure project requirements are met
5. Maintaining a clean and organised workshop environment
6. Ensuring all work meets quality and safety standards
7. Working independently while adhering to deadlines
What we're looking for
1. Formal qualifications in Cabinet Making or a related trade
2. Demonstrated experience as a Cabinet Maker, preferably in a custom or bespoke workshop setting
3. Proficient in the use of power tools and woodworking machinery
4. Strong attention to detail and the ability to work from technical drawings
5. Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills
6. Commitment to safety and quality standards
