Our OpportunityWork Location: Residential in HedlandFortescue’s Hedland Operations are located on the traditional lands of the Kariyarra people.Roster: Monday – FridayThe residential, Hedland-based Community Administration and Support position provides administrative support to Fortescue's Community Office in South Hedland. This role also involves representing Fortescue at various community-related activities, forums, and events. It is a 6-month contract within our Hedland-based Community team.Key ResponsibilitiesCoordinate the South Hedland Fortescue Community office and respond to all visitor, phone and email enquiries in a professional and friendly manner.Provide administration support to the Pilbara Community team as required including the Pilbara Community Grants program and local sponsorships.Responsible for all data entry including, updating and maintaining spreadsheets, submitting purchase order requests and processing invoices.Represent Fortescue at community events and on key committees, which involves weekend and after hour events.Provide Fortescue Pilbara residential staff with regular information about community activities.Qualifications And ExperienceMinimum 3 years’ experience in an administration or a communication role.Qualification and/or previous experience in Community Development, Social Investment or Communications or similar field desirable.High computer literacy with demonstrated ability to learn and adapt quickly to different systems.Proficient in data management and reporting.High level professional communication skills, including written communication.High level interpersonal skills - ability to interact with a variety of people in a pleasant and professional manner.About UsBe part of something big.
