Trolley Collection Driver - Key Role in Maintaining Store Operations
About the Job
We are seeking a motivated and reliable Trolley Collection Driver to join our Proactive Services Team at Woolworths Warrawong. As a Trolley Collection Driver, you will play a vital role in ensuring trolleys are available for customers and stores are kept clean and tidy.
Key Responsibilities
* Collect trolleys from car parks and surrounding streets using a vehicle
* Drive a trolley collection vehicle and collect trolleys from car parks and surrounding suburbs
* PUSH TROLLEYS UP A RAMP ONTO THE TROLLEY COLLECTION VEHICLE COLLECT TROLLEYS LEFT IN AND AROUND THE STORE AND RETURN THEM TO THE TROLLEY BAYS CARRY OUT ALL PRE-START AND HANDOVER ROUTINES FOR THE VEHICLE FOLLOW ALL SAFETY AND OPERATIONAL PROCESSES AND PROCEDURES RELATED TO VEHICLE OPERATION AND TROLLEY COLLECTION FOLLOW ALL ROAD RULES AND REPORT ANY ISSUES RELATED TO UNRETRIEVABLE TROLLEYS
* You may also be required to complete cleaning and waste disposal tasks
Requirements
* Hold a full (unrestricted) Australian drivers licence, Provisional P2 drivers licence (Green P Plates) or full International Licence
* Physical fitness is essential for this role, as you will be transitioning from driving a vehicle to physically collecting and loading trolleys throughout your shift
* Availability to work across Monday-Sunday and shifts starting from 6am or 4pm
* A strong work ethic and ability to work independently and as part of a team
