Mortgage Loan Processor Established, Award-Winning Lending Business
We are looking for a new team member to join the team and assist in all aspects of the finance process from initial submission to settlement and beyond.
You will be working closely with the director and loan processing team to ensure new loans are prepared and submitted in a timely manner, loan settlements run smoothly, CRM is maintained, andpliance requirements are met

Salary of $70,000 to $80,000 pa + bonus after probation depending on experience.
Your key responsibilities will include:
1. Managing phone calls & emails.
2. Data input of Loan Applications into aggregator's software program (SFGconnect).
3. Liaise with clients and collate outstanding documents.
4. Respond to all queries and requests and action/escalate issues as required
5. Manage client's journey from enquiry through to loan settlement.
6. Keep up to date with bank guidelines and regulations
7. Managing client relationships, keeping them up to date with progress and oues (pre & post settlement, ongoing marketing)
8. Manage a Team of 2 that will assist with application lodgement and lender/ settlement follow up
9. Must befortable Liaising with Lenders, Customers and other external parties including valuers, Solicitors, Real Estate Agents and Accountants
10. Assisting our clients with general queries as part of the ongoing client relationship management, including post settlement requirements.
11. Working with clients, bank BDMs and credit assessing teams, as well as internal stakeholders
To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:
12. Experience with SFG Connect (Sales Trekker)
13. Previous experience as a mortgage broker, loan writer, para broker or office manager
14. Cert IV in Finance and Mortgage Broking is highly regarded but not essential
15. Ability to multitask and deal with multiple priorities.
16. Ability to write professional business emails.
17. Strong attention to detail
18. Ability to work in high pressure environment and meet tight deadlines.
19. Confidence to work independently with minimum supervision.
20. Exceptional telephone manner; a friendly and professional disposition is essential.
The Role will include
21. Utilise established electronic forms and processes,
22. Assessment of financial position upon receipt of Fact Find
23. 3-4 products selected, checked against policy and suitability
24. Simulation andparison of 3 loan products
25. Ordering of Valuations and Credit Checks
26. Report provided with rmendation ready for broker to present to the client
27. Cross checking lender application andpliance documents
28. Assisting with clientspleting loan documents
29. Ensure settlement dates are met
30. Managing client relationships, keeping them up to date with progress and oues (pre & post settlement, ongoing marketing)
Selection Criteria
31. You must have a minimum 2 years' experience in a current para-broking / senior mortgage broking assistant role with a mortgage broker (or equivalent in finance)
32. Excellence analysis and written reporting skills
33. Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving skillset
34. Excellent written and verbalmunication skills and can-do attitude
35. You must be able to manage your time and multiple finance deals in a busy environment.
36. Strong skills using Google Drive, Word, Excel, Aggregation Software and online programs
37. Experience with ApplyOnLine is not essential but would be an advantage.
38. Experience with SFG Connect (Sales Trekker)
39. Lender credit policy knowledge and experience
