Our client, a community based aged care organisation, is seeking a Revenue Accountant, where you’ll manage critical financial functions, including billing, revenue recognition, accounts receivable, and reporting, all while driving process improvements and collaborating with key stakeholders.
Customer service skills and strong communication skills are crucial. This role will be onsite.
Key Responsibilities:
* Billing: Handle routine billing, collections, and reporting, ensuring accuracy and efficiency. Oversee the entire billing cycle and implement process enhancements.
* Revenue Recognition: Ensure accurate recording and classification of revenue sources. Verify invoices and align revenue recognition with contracts and payment terms.
* Accounts Receivable: Manage invoicing, collections, and aging reports. Implement strategies to reduce outstanding balances and collaborate with internal teams to resolve billing inquiries.
* Reporting: Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, providing in-depth revenue analysis to support decision-making.
* Client Management: Serve as the primary contact for billing inquiries, maintain accurate records, and ensure client satisfaction through proactive communication.
* Government Funding: Track government funding, adjust billing processes, and ensure compliance with regulations while analyzing the impact on revenue streams.
* Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for efficiency, drive automation projects, and adjust processes in line with regulatory changes.
Collaboration and Development: Work closely with various departments, support strategic financial planning, and pursue professional development opportunities to grow your expertise.
