We are seeking keen, reliable, and friendly individuals to join our team in providing casual Domestic Assistant services for our clients in North Canberra, South Canberra, Central Canberra, etc.
The team is engaging, collaborative, and supportive to ensure you’re able to reach your full potential. You’ll work alongside colleagues who have extensive industry experience and with supportive management who are dedicated to your development and success in the role.
About the role
In this casual role as a Domestic Assistant, you will be responsible for various domestic activities including cooking, shopping, vacuuming, mopping, dusting and cleaning bathrooms and toilets, bed-making, dishwashing, laundry, ironing, hanging clothes out, assistance with meal preparation, and unaccompanied shopping. Ensuring that service recipients' homes are kept in a clean, hygienic, and homely condition according to the individual's needs and wishes.
* Must have own car to travel to multiple clients' homes each day
* Basic domestic cleaning experience
* Understanding and willingness to support the elderly
Required
* Current Drivers Licence and access to own vehicle
* Current National Police Check
* Working with Vulnerable People Card
* Reliable smartphone for roster access (iOS 15+ or Android 9+)
