The ideal candidate will have a passion for delivering person-centred, evidence-based approaches to support individuals with complex behavioural needs. As a Behaviour Support Practitioner at CareSquared, you will provide professional guidance, assessments, and interventions to individuals to enhance their wellbeing and promote positive behavioural outcomes.Key Responsibilities:Behavioural Assessments: Conduct thorough assessments of clients’ behaviour, including functional behaviour assessments (FBA) and risk assessments.Develop Behaviour Support Plans: Develop individualised, evidence-based behaviour support plans tailored to clients' specific needs and goals.Implementation & Monitoring: Implement and monitor behaviour support plans, ensuring they are adapted to reflect ongoing progress and changing circumstances.Support Teams & Stakeholders: Provide guidance and training to staff, family members, and other stakeholders in implementing behaviour support strategies.Collaboration: Work closely with other professionals, including psychologists, speech pathologists, and occupational therapists, to provide holistic support to clients.Case Management: Manage client cases, ensuring documentation is thorough and up to date, and maintain a high level of communication with relevant stakeholders.Compliance & Documentation: Ensure all interventions and practices align with NDIS regulations and relevant behavioural frameworks.
