About the role We have a new opportunity for Leisure and Lifestyle (Activities) Officers to join our facilities located in Alice Springs, NT. These busy and rewarding roles are offered on a permanent, full-time basis, 76 hours per Fortnight. Hourly rate $32.50 gross base penalties super. The role of Leisure and Lifestyle Officer will see you coordinating and delivering activities within our facility to motivate and stimulate the minds and bodies of our residents. Under the direction of the Leisure and Lifestyle Coordinator, you will ensure that activities executed are reflective of both our residents wishes and cultural preferences. They will be customised to the residents’ abilities and ensure that it provides a fun and stimulating experience. This opportunity will suit a committed person who enjoys interacting with our residents. As the ideal candidate, you will have previous experience where you have interacted with the elderly or vulnerable. You will be a person who is patient and caring and understands the importance of these activities to the livelihood of people in our care.
