We have a dedicated history of delivering safe and efficient transport solutions to our valued clients across our depots in WA.We are looking for a highly motivated and professional Financial Controller to forecast, budget, plan, analyse and report on expenditure for our multi-faceted operation. You will be responsible for overseeing the company’s financial health by taking ownership of the financial reporting process. The role assists with budget preparation, ensures reporting compliance, and manages the transaction reporting process.About the role:Managing a small team and working closely with the Chief Financial Officer and Managing Director, this is a hands-on role with a wide range of responsibility and variety.Your key responsibilities will include:Cash flow management and forecasting, including preparing and updating daily cashflow forecastSupervision of EOM close and reporting timetableAccounts receivable management and escalation, including credit application reviews, bad debt follow up queries and disputes and escalate to CFO and MD as per company policy.Accounts payable management, including review and authorisation of supplier payments in terms of company policiesReview General Ledger month end reconciliations and corrections as requiredManage the year-end audit process, including preparing year end file and supporting schedules and Statutory AccountsPreparation of supporting tax schedules and other supporting documents for tax professionals.Review and authorisation of payrolls for all divisionsReview of management accounts and prepares variance analysis.Admin/Accounts staff management, development, performance reviews, hiring, terminationsRisk Management and appropriate compliance requirements in consultation with CFOOversee statutory remittance of BAS/GST, Payroll Tax, Superannuation etcSkills & QualificationsTertiary qualification in Commerce, Accounting or Business.At least three years’ experience in a Financial Management role.Exposure to hire industry / mechanical workshops / transport & logistics is advantageous.In return for your skills and experience, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced group.
