TP Human Capital is seeking a skilled Bookkeeper to join our client's team in Townsville .
This is a permanent opportunity for a meticulous and client-focused professional who enjoys managing financial records and supporting businesses with their bookkeeping needs.
Key Responsibilities: Software Implementation & Training: Assist clients with Xero, MYOB, and Reckon setup, onboarding, and troubleshooting.
Month-End & Year-End Processes: Manage reconciliations, financial reporting, and compliance tasks.
Payroll Management: Process payroll, including STP reporting, superannuation payments, and reconciliations.
Accounts Processing: Handle accounts payable & receivable, ensuring accuracy and timely payments.
Tax Compliance: Prepare and lodge BAS & IAS statements in line with ATO requirements.
Client Engagement: Attend meetings independently or with accountants to provide financial insights and recommendations.
Process Improvement: Help clients streamline their financial and administrative systems for efficiency.
Skills & Experience Required: Minimum Certificate IV in Bookkeeping or Accounting (or equivalent).
At least 2+ years in bookkeeping, preferably in a multi-client environment.
Proficiency in Xero (essential) and familiarity with MYOB/Reckon.
Payroll Knowledge: Experience with STP, superannuation, and payroll processing.
Must have full working rights in Australia.
