What will your typical day look like?
As an Automation Tester, you will: Develop and Maintain Automation Scripts – Use tools like Selenium, Playwright, WebdriverIO, Cypress, or similar frameworks.
Test Planning and Execution – Work with cross-functional teams to understand requirements, create test plans, and execute automated test cases.
Collaborate on CI/CD Integration – Help integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to ensure continuous quality and faster releases.
Support Documentation – Assist in documenting test plans, test cases, and automation scripts.
Engage with Team Members – Work closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to ensure a strong understanding of testing requirements.
Improve Testing Processes – Learn and implement new tools and techniques to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

Required Skills and Experience Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
Detail-oriented with a focus on quality.
Experience with any of the automation testing tools (e.g., Selenium, Playwright, WebdriverIO, Cypress).
Basic programming knowledge in Java, Python, or JavaScript.
Understanding of CI/CD processes and tools like Jenkins, GitHub, Bamboo, or Azure DevOps.
Exposure to version control systems (e.g., Git) and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) is a plus.
Interest in learning BDD/TDD methodologies and tools like Cucumber.
Work Entitlement Due to the nature of the clients this role will support, you must be an Australian Citizen and be willing to undergo the Australian Government Security Vetting process.
