Work closely with CoreMod (Data Center Migration Program) project team and lead activities related to migration of applications under Workplace IT to a new Data Center.This involves collaborating closely with the project working group and business stakeholders to understand and evaluate business impacts, shape technical solutions, and coordinate change delivery. The position requires an understanding of application and infrastructure architecture, solution development lifecycle (SDLC), and essential aspects of IT Service Management (for e.g. Change Management, Business Relationship Management, Information Security, Configuration Management etc).Previous experience of working as a technical lead on a large migration programme inside the financial sector would be of great benefit to the success in this role.Position ObjectivesWork collaboratively with a wide array of stakeholders including business, vendors, project and BAU teams to identify, validate and refine business and technical requirements.Be the SME and main point of contact for the core mod programme and support and attend all working groups, workshops, and project meetings to remove the workload from the Workplace IT operational teams.Provide technical solution options and their associated time and effort estimates to project manager/s,Enhance the availability, security, and performance of solutions across the Corporate Services business departments by creating processes, guidelines and other relevant technical documentation aligned with standards and best practices.Leverage the Bank standard SDLC methodologies & processes to support portfolio delivery of changes impacting the Corporate Services business departments. .Perform technical analysis and solution design, undertake the more complex tasks and ensure that systems are adequately tested.Ensure that system development standards are maintained and participate in reviews.Your teamYou will be a part of Workplace IT team as part of the broader Information Technology department.
