We currently have a rare opportunity for an experienced Maintenance Manager to lead our Maintenance Team on one of our flagship villages in Central QLD. A DIDO position, there is flexibility around a number of roster options for the right candidate.
A DIDO position, initially on a 5/2, 4/3 roster - 12 hour days, where there may be flexibility of changing to other roster options for the right candidate being able to achieve operational objectives.
We’re ideally looking for someone already based in the Bowen Basin; whether it be Moranbah, Blackwater, Emerald, Mackay, Rockhampton or Townsville.
The Position
Providing leadership, management and operational support to our Delta FM Maintenance team
Maintaining consistent operational performance, driving quality, cost, people capability and performance
Driving regular and sustainable improvement in our safety performance
Fostering a high-performance culture through continuous improvement and innovation
Ensuring compliance with asset and maintenance process, practices and procedures
Staff engagement and development, modelling positive working relationships, demonstrating trust, care and respect
The Person
Experience in Remote Maintenance Supervisory or Management positions
Strong and decisive leadership skills with ability to build effective and engaged teams
Experience managing multiple stakeholder relationships and project deadlines with competing priorities
Experience in Staff recruitment, retention, rostering, and subsequent management of both permanent and casual workforces.
Prior experience in scheduling and planning complex works over multiple areas in a remote setting
Trade qualifications in the electrical discipline is preferred, but will consider plumbing or HVAC qualified Supervisors
Qualifications in project and asset infrastructure management is also desirable
