Southern Queensland Rural Health Part-time (50% FTE), fixed-term position through to 30 January 2026 The full-time base salary will range from $112,572 - $133,381 (Academic Level B) 17% Superannuation an additional 10% regional location Market Loading Based in St George, Queensland About This Opportunity This is an exciting opportunity for a Clinical Educator, in either Occupational Therapy or Speech Pathology, to join us at Southern Queensland Rural Health (SQRH) to make a real and positive difference to the education of our students and the future of regional healthcare in Queensland. This position is based in the Goondir Community Wellbeing Centre in St George and is responsible for the development, co-ordination and delivery of student-assisted preventative health programs within the Centre. This includes supporting the supervision of students during rural clinical placements, facilitating interprofessional learning opportunities during student placements, and enhancing support and education to both students and clinical supervisors in the region. About You Completion of an advanced professional qualification in Occupational Therapy or Speech Pathology. Broad clinical experience as a health professional, with at least 3 years of recent practice experience. Demonstrated experience and expertise in clinical education and supervision with undergraduate health students. Sound knowledge of interprofessional education, collaboration and practice or the willingness and ability to rapidly acquire, utilise and disseminate such knowledge. Demonstrated high level of interpersonal, written and oral communication skills, with the ability to negotiate and work consultatively. Demonstrated ability to work independently with high levels of initiative and autonomy, along with the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues. A commitment to research activities and a willingness to participate in rural health research. An ability to establish relationships and to represent and promote your academic discipline at a university and wider community level, including industry, government and professional bodies.
