Description Wood is currently recruiting for a Senior Construction Supervisor to join our team in regional Victoria to provide site supervision within a multi discipline EPC and Maintenance SIB (Stay in business) environment. The Senior Construction Supervisor will provide supervision / assurance of multi discipline (Civil, Structural, Mechanical, Piping, Electrical, Instrumentation and Pre-Commissioning) activities executed by Contractors on the On-Plot Facilities to confirm that works are performed in accordance with the Project/Construction Execution Plan / Scope of Work / Quality Specified and Overall Project Objectives. LI-Site Responsibilities Scope of Work · To support the Site Delivery Lead in delivery of both green field and brown field Facilities Projects · To manage works to the highest level of safety (Target Zero) and environmental requirements · To manage works to the specified quality, constructability, operability and cost effectiveness targets · Pre-Construction input into Constructability Reviews and Model Reviews · In some cases, self-perform activities under direction of the Site Delivery Lead · Coordinating on site activities with Direct Wood and Contractors in the optimization of the execution schedule · Supervise direct Wood and contractor personnel, in achieving agreed targets · Support the development and approval of Scopes of Work and Work Method Statements Qualifications What makes you remarkable? It is essential that the incumbent hold the following qualifications/certificates: · Relevant Technical / Trade Qualification and or Degree Qualification (Civil / Mechanical / Electrical / Instrumentation and Piping) · Construction White Card · Current Drivers Licence It is essential for the incumbent to demonstrate experience and/or knowledge in the following: · 10 – 15 years’ experience in Oil and Gas Facilities construction supervisory or field engineering role · Demonstrated experience in managing contractors in line with a contract · Demonstrated experience working to Australian Standards and codes · Ability to understand and effectively articulate Company Standards and performance expectations to contractors and the worksite generally · Experience in risk mitigation to enable timely project delivery · Experience in schedule and cost management · Proven experience delivering on HSSE expectations · Ability to understand and manage change effectively · Demonstrated experience working within a multidisciplinary team · Project control and reporting systems · Solid proven knowledge of risk management techniques · Sound computer skills Candidates must have full work rights in Australia to be considered for this role.
