Job Description:
We are seeking a talented Human Resources People Support Advisor to join our South Pacific HR Operations team.
Key Responsibilities:
* HR Process Deployment: Ensure smooth execution of HR processes and activities within a specific site or organizational unit.
* Employee Relations & Conflict Resolution: Resolve workplace issues, offer guidance on conflict resolution, and ensure a positive, productive work environment.
* Compensation & Benefits Administration: Manage compensation strategies and benefits administration.
* Training & Development: Coordinate training needs assessments, develop training programs, and facilitate employee development initiatives.
* Compliance & Policy Management: Ensure HR policies, procedures, and legislative requirements are followed and implemented in the workplace.
* Data Management & Reporting: Maintain and update employee records in HR systems, generate reports, and provide insights on HR metrics.
* Staffing & Recruitment Support: Assist in the recruitment process, including workforce data analysis and helping to develop staffing strategies.
Requirements:
* Generalist HR experience within an operations environment is ideal, but not essential.
* A strong willingness to learn and become an integral team member is essential.
* Excellent communication skills, ability to engage with employees at all levels, and convey information in a clear and professional manner.
* Team-oriented mindset, collaborative approach to working with others, both within HR and across other business units.
* Strong organizational and time-management skills, ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities while maintaining attention to detail.
* Problem-solving abilities, proactive in identifying HR issues and finding practical, effective solutions.
* Familiarity with HRIS (Human Resource Information Systems) or similar data management systems is an advantage.
* A willingness to travel occasionally to support HR initiatives and assist with employee relations issues.
