Our client, a well-respected regional business, is seeking a full-time Branch Manager to oversee the operation of their Forbes store.
This is a key leadership position requiring someone who is highly organized, task-oriented, and passionate about delivering exceptional customer service.
As Branch Manager, you will be responsible for managing a team and driving growth across various areas of the store.
Key Responsibilities: Lead and supervise the store team, ensuring high standards of customer service and performance.Manage stock levels, customer orders, and ensure timely stock transfers between branches.Serve customers, offering expert product advice and assistance.Build and maintain strong customer relationships and handle customer complaints.Coordinate training for staff, focusing on product knowledge and customer experience.Manage debtors and monitor the health of account customers.Conduct regular stock takes and maintain inventory accuracy.Liaise with key suppliers and representatives.Implement marketing campaigns and sales promotions.Maintain store and yard safety, cleanliness, and presentation.Ensure daily balancing of cash and EFTPOS takings.Key Requirements: Strong focus on customer service and providing a superior customer experience.At least 2 years of experience in a retail sales environment, with leadership experience.Proficient in administrative tasks, including computer and mobile technology skills (e.g.
Microsoft Outlook, POS systems, accounts).Current driver's license.Desirable (but not essential): Forklift license.Experience working with trade customers, or in the steel and industrial supplies industries.Stock management and merchandising experience.Current first aid certification.Position Details: This is a salaried role, with remuneration based on the successful candidate's skills and experience.
The role offers flexible work hours based on branch needs, with the typical schedule being Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 5:30pm, and every second Saturday from 8:00am to 12:00pm.
The Forbes branch operates from 7:00am to 5:30pm Monday to Friday, and 8:00am to 12:00pm on Saturdays.
