2. Multiple Permanent and Temporary positions available (hours and roles negotiable, working over a 7-day roster) - RN/M1,RN/M2
3. Salary: $70,535 - $104,154 (pro rata)
Please note that this position is multi-classified as either a RN-1 or RN-2C.

ABOUT THE ROLE
13. Provide professional high-quality nursing within the Millicent and Districts Hospital and Health Service.
14. Opportunities to extend and expand your scope of practice in a vibrant rural setting.
15. Provide care to your patients from the front door through to discharge, developing strong therapeutic relationships that engender greater holistic care and job satisfaction.
16. Bring and grow in your skill set by providing support and guidance to a broad range of nursing staff from the novice to experienced staff, supported by a team of Nurse Educators and Clinical Facilitators.
17. Access continuous professional development and experience and maintain cooperative and productive working relationships with all members of the health care team

ABOUT YOU
19. Registered or eligible for registration as a Nurse/Midwife by the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia, and hold or be eligible to hold a current practicing certificate.
20. Effective communication skills, including problem solving, conflict resolution and negotiation skills.
21. Work effectively within a multidisciplinary team and prioritise workloads.
22. Creative, innovative and flexible when approaching issues within a healthcare setting
23. Previous Acute / Emergency experience desired (but not essential)
24. Appointment will be subject to a satisfactory Criminal History Check and appropriate immunisation requirements.
25. COVID-19 vaccination is an essential requirement under the Public Health Act 2011 (Healthcare Setting Workers Vaccination) (COVID-19) to work in SA Health/health care setting.
ABOUT US
Millicent and District Hospital and Health Service is part of the Limestone Coast Local Health Network and employs over 140 staff across the site to provide the community with access to acute and aged care services which includes but is not limited to:
26. Inpatient admissions including paediatric, medical, step down and mental health.
27. Outpatient care including infusion and transfusion services
28. Surgical services-including day surgery and overnight as required. Surgical specialities offered include general surgery, orthopaedics, endoscopy and gastroscopy, oral and maxillofacial, breast and endocrine, dental and minor procedures.
29. A 24-hour, seven day a week Accident and Emergency Department.
30. 60 bed residential aged care facility co-located
31. Domiciliary midwife program
32. Co-located Community Health Service
