A Manager Governance Opportunity

Located in the heart of Central Australia, Alice Springs Town Council seeks an experienced Manager Governance to lead the management, review and continuous improvement of our governance framework, risk management framework, and legal advice.


About the Role

* Develop and lead the implementation of a best-practice Corporate Governance Framework.
* Provide strategic advice to Senior Executive and Elected Members on matters relating to improving the governance of policy, planning, and operations of Council.
* Manage Governance team members and support skill development across the business unit to optimise Council operations during times of leave and reduced resourcing.


What You'll Get

* Attractive salary starting at Level 8.1 (MO) $122,965.69 p/a.
* 11.5% superannuation and district allowance - $2611 w/dependents, $1498 w/o dependents.
* 6 weeks annual leave with additional generous leave entitlements.
* 3 weeks personal leave.
