At Lockheed Martin Australia (LMA), we believe that when people are empowered, inspired, and supported, they can achieve extraordinary things.We embrace flexibility, so our people can be their best inside and outside of work.We champion inclusion and continuous learning, ensuring all voices are heard and valued.And we thrive on collaboration, turning challenges into opportunities for growth and innovation.As a leader in national security, our innovative and diverse programs create a more secure future for Australia across space, air, land, sea, and cyber domains.Every day is a chance to solve the world's most complex challenges and make a profound impact.Experience it here.Program LMA is producing and sustaining the F-35A and related support systems for the RAAF and other F-35A Program partners, including a comprehensive suite of training capabilities.Core to the establishment and initial sustainment of the RAAF F-35A Training System, LMA has delivered a range of training equipment and services to contracts with the F-35A Joint Program Office.Primary Responsibility:Serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for the F-35, supporting pilot training and tactics development using the Instructor Operating Station (IOS).Key Responsibilities: Provide instruction using the Full Mission Simulator (FMS).Maintain expertise in F-35 weapons systems.Collaborate with Lockheed Martin team and RAAF at dedicated training sites to achieve training objectives.Prepare classrooms and briefing rooms for instruction.Support lesson plan and mission guide revisions.Assist in conducting aircrew training device scenario design and programming.Coordinate corrective actions and remedial training with the Lead Instructor and Squadron XO.Conduct student evaluations and ensure accuracy of responses.Provide Force Generation support, including deployment planning, to the Squadron and/or Wing Force Application support services as needed.Minimum Royal Australian Air Force Category B Qualified Flying Instructor or equivalent (e.g., United States Air Force) on fourth or fifth generation fighter aircraft.At least 1000 hours of Fighter Flight Time in fourth or fifth generation fighter aircraft.NV2 CoA security clearance with the ability to obtain and maintain TSPV.Experience flying F-22 or F-35.Combat operations experience on fourth or fifth generation aircraft.Familiarity with advanced sensors (e.g., targeting pods, helmet-mounted displays).Leadership experience as Flight Commander or Duty Flight Commander.Planning experience in either Exercise Plans or Lead Deployment Planner.
