Manager Commercial ServicesFull-TimeTotal Package $188,720.26 per annum (inclusive of superannuation)Engage with high-level stakeholders and build influential relationships with members.Work with a purpose driven, innovative, and collaborative organisation.Sector leading 6 weeks' annual leave per annum and flexible working environment.We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Manager Commercial Services to join the WALGA Member Services Portfolio.This pivotal role will oversee the delivery of current and emerging commercial activities within the Member Services portfolio. This includes effective oversight and contract management of the LGIS Management Agreement, undertaking contractual and governance obligations on behalf of WALGA as the LGIS Trustee, and reporting to WALGA State Council and the LGIS Board.LGIS is a discretionary mutual scheme that provides WALGA members with an alternative mechanism to mitigate their risks and minimise costs as an industry-based alternative to traditional insurance. LGIS is governed by a Trust Deed and Corporate Governance Charter, with WALGA as the Trustee of the Scheme.The Manager Commercial Services will coordinate LGIS Board fee payments, selection processes, and inductions, as well as procuring and managing contracts with external consultants for LGIS-related functions. It will also manage and deliver other commercial activities such as the Electric Vehicle Charging Project, WALGA Tax Service, and other projects and funding initiatives as they arise.What does a typical week look like?In this role, you'll take the initiative in shaping strategies, business plans, budgets, and operations pertaining to WALGA's responsibilities as the Trustee of LGIS. You'll be responsible for developing business plans for new commercial initiatives that align with both the WALGA's Strategic Plan and the Member Services Business Plan. Additionally, you'll critically evaluate current initiatives, offering advice and recommendations for continuous improvement.Key responsibilities will include establishing professional relationships with key LGIS stakeholders to ensure commitment and support, while developing and maintaining relationships with other stakeholders in relation to other commercial initiatives, to effectively lead and support the performance of direct reports.Let's talk about you.You will have a demonstrated ability to effectively manage contracts and contractual relationships, build strong, outcome-focused stakeholder relationships, and provide high-quality and professional customer service.
