Sunshine Coast Health is in southeast Queensland and extends through the coastal and hinterland areas from Caloundra in the south and Gympie in the north.

Key Responsibilities include:
* Provide specialised immunisation support, including cold chain management, immunisation catch-up advice, Adverse Events Following Immunisation (AEFI) follow-up, and assessment of Vaccine Management Protocols (VMPs) and Yellow Fever Provider applications.
* Provide clinical guidance and mentorship to Clinical Nurses within the Public Health Unit, providing expertise on complex cold chain management, immunisation catch-up advice, AEFI follow-up, and Vaccine Management Protocol (VMP) assessments.
* Provide leadership in internal immunisation processes, contribute to strategic initiatives to improve vaccination rates, and foster strong partnerships with internal and external stakeholders across SCHHS.
* Lead and coordinate the School Immunisation Program (SIP), including engagement and education for all SIP providers.
* Represent SCPHU in teleconferences and working groups to support immunisation initiatives.
Remuneration value up to $164,212 p.a., comprising salary between $132,562 - $143,924 p.a., employer contribution to superannuation (up to 12.75%) and annual leave loading (17.5%) (NRG7).
