We have an enticing Process Technician – Tailings & Water residential position awaiting you at the world-class KCGM Operation that boasts a +10-year mine life. Promising a long-term and fulfilling future, join our esteemed technical team on the convenience of a 5/2 (9 hour) day shift roster. Here's what awaits you: Reporting to the Processing Supervisor – Tailings and Water and being responsible for ensuring our Tailings Storage Facilities are operated and maintained in accordance with Northern Star KCGM's environmental, legal, and safety standards. This is a fantastic opportunity for candidates with previous tailings experience or some general operating experience wanting to take the next step with their career. Previous experience will be highly regarded; however, it is not a requirement. All necessary training will be provided. Proactive involvement with continuous OHS improvement processes and active participation in all communication and awareness systems. Operate in accordance with and comply with the Company's Safety and Health Policy, and with all site policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements. Manage all activities in a manner that prevents pollution and minimizes damage to the natural environment. Adhere to the clean-shaven policy while working within the processing plant. Exposure to large industrial equipment, electrical parts, chemicals, cold, heat, dust, lubricants, noise, weather, confined spaces, and heights. Communicate with maintenance to discuss any planned maintenance or other problems identified in the plant. Willingness to learn and grow within the company. Ability to retain and apply knowledge to day-to-day tasks. Qualifications: Current "C" Class Western Australian Drivers Licence.
