About the Opportunity
APS4 Operations Officer, approximately 10 month contract. This full-time position offers a flexible, hybrid work environment, ensuring a great work-life balance. The role is based in Geelong and some in-office time is required. Only Australian Citizens are eligible to apply.
About the Team
The Aged Care and Hospital Interface Branch is responsible for servicing several specialised cohorts of participants including, participants living in or at risk of entering aged care under 65 years of age, participants diagnosed with MND, participants with terminal illness and disability, and supporting those in hospital to discharge.
About the Role
This role involves coordinating various project activities, including administrative tasks, and leading process improvement initiatives. It requires providing secretariat support, such as organising speakers, drafting agendas, and taking minutes. The role also includes managing, analysing, and interpreting data to produce reports and dashboards, contributing to the Innovation portfolio, and liaising with stakeholders. Other responsibilities include handling correspondence, managing internal work tasks, and assisting with training requests. Strong communication, stakeholder engagement, time management, and Excel skills are essential, with experience in the disability, health, or aged care sectors being advantageous.
Key Responsibilities
1. Coordinate project activities, including related administrative tasks and functions.
2. Lead and contribute to the implementation of process improvement initiatives.
3. Provide secretariat support by coordinating speakers, drafting agendas, and taking minutes.

Requirements

7. Experience in the disability, health, or aged care sectors.
