About the TeamOur Operations team works with a diverse customer base to support several nationally significant supply chains.
With management responsibility spanning across five states, our 8,500km rail network is used to transport bulk products, passenger and general freight, including steel and a vast array of consumer items such as groceries, electrical goods and other items for both import and export markets.The Operations teams work within several complex and challenging environments, including some of the busiest rail corridors in Australia to deliver safe, efficient and sustainable service delivery outcomes for its customers, stakeholders and the community.
About the OpportunitySignal Maintainers at ARTC install, modify, maintain and repair signalling and communication equipment on ARTC's extensive rail network and undertake safe working duties.
You will also collaborate with other signalling professionals across the rail corridor to perform signalling routine and reactive maintenance and work on rail projects.
The role is a permanent full-time position working a mix of Monday to Friday roster and a ten-day block with the requirement to travel away from home.
There will also be some on call requirements.If you are an electrical tradesperson looking to gain a nationally recognised qualification or are looking to enter the transport and logistics industry, we are interested in hearing from you!
What do we want from you?We are seeking applications from Electrical Technicians with industrial experience who are willing to be trained.
Would also consider apprenticeship for right person looking for a new career.
Our ideal candidate is one who performs well in a team environment and is focused on delivering safety and reliability outcomes for our assets.
You will need the right can-do attitude and have a desire to learn.
