This division is responsible for the sales, marketing, and distribution of home entertainment content on behalf of Paramount Pictures, Miramax, CBS, Showtime, MTV, BET, Comedy Central, Nick Jr., Nickelodeon and more.We now have an opportunity in our Home Entertainment division to lead the revenue and customer activity across the Southeast Asia and Greater China territories.This is a permanent full-time role and can be based in either SYDNEY or SINGAPORE. Purpose of the role: This role is responsible for growing digital distribution, executing the negotiation of distribution licensing agreements, and the development and ongoing management of customer relationships and performance (enablement and engagement); specifically, driving digital revenue, contribution margin and market share performance within Southeast Asia and Greater China (key territories include India, Indonesia, Malaysia, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Thailand, China & Mongolia).The role is also responsible for the account management of the physical licensees in the region (Thailand, Hong Kong, Taiwan and China). This encompasses growing the transactional digital business; developing strategic customer planning and execution in conjunction with marketing, planning and finance. Clients across the region include Apple TV, Amazon Prime Video, Google/YouTube, Astro, Deltamac among others. Functions will also include: Growing digital distribution and revenue through existing partnerships and joint business development plans. Under the direction of regional sales leadership, structure and execute the negotiation of distribution licensing agreements with transactional platforms. Support the development and execution of strategies to increase distribution and revenue of Paramount content across digital transactional platforms. Meet assigned goals for profitable sales, trade spend, market share, and other strategic objectives. Lead customer initiatives by continuously assessing the need for improvement. Provide detailed and accurate sales forecasting and data reporting. Work closely with the marketing function to establish and support successful partner programs. Maintain strong relationships with all digital media distributors, technology companies and vendors by developing a deep understanding of their business. Partner in all digital projects to improve performance and processes related to EST and VOD. Assist in the development of global digital strategy across EST and VOD. Travel for in-person meetings with customers and partners, attend regional trade shows. Direct report management and mentoring. This is what we're looking for: 5+ years Sales and Distribution experience in Home Entertainment or relatable new media & consumer product industries in a retailer customer management capacity, including managing large scale licensing agreements. Proven success in driving superior value from direct management and/or leadership of large scale national & or multinational customers. Ability to think strategically to achieve competitive advantage, consider longer term impacts and translate strategies into specific objectives and actionable plans. Highly numerate, analytical and commercially astute. Excellent communication and ability to influence at all levels with confidence to challenge appropriately. Able to negotiate skilfully, shape opinions, and promote and sell ideas persuasively. Ability to travel as required. Extra points for the following: Masters or undergraduate degree qualified. Working knowledge of industry landscape and business models. Mandarin language skills would be highly advantageous.
