Experience with computerised machinery (i.e. CNC machines, Beam saws etc.) and practical skills using hand tools will be highly beneficial in this role, but not essential! This role will operate on a full-time basis working five days a week, Monday - Friday during the day.Key tasks and responsibilities include but are not limited to: Communicate material requirements for each job. Cutting and Machining raw timber components for timber door assembly. Utilising machinery to manufacture Aluminium Doors, this involves using CNC (Computer Numerical Control Machine), Hand Drills, Drill Press, Drop Saw, Panel Saw, Staple Guns, Jointer, and Thicknesser. Any sort of experience with these tools will be highly regarded, but not essential. Ensure the scheduled workload is completed within the allocated timeframe. Actively seek Learning & Development opportunities to increase efficiency within your role and improve the customers experience. Ensure you and your team members comply with company safety protocols. Maintain a tidy work environment Skills and experience Mechanical and technical skills with hand tools Ability to read technical drawings and blueprints will be highly desirable Proven experience with producing quality work within tight timeframes. Attention to detail and a methodical approach - a "true craftsman" that is passionate about producing quality products. Able to multi-task in a fast-paced warehouse environment Forklift license (preferred but not essential).
