Your new role Routing and Switching (70%) Configuration and Management: Configure andmanage Cisco software (IOS-XR and IOS-XE) and hardware (NCS55xx, ASR1xxx,ASR99xx). Network Monitoring: Monitor network performanceand troubleshoot issues to ensure optimal operation. Routing Protocols: Implement and maintainrouting protocols such as BGP, OSPF, and MPLS to ensure efficient data flow. Network Upgrades: Plan and execute networkupgrades and expansions to support business growth and new technologies. Documentation: Maintain detailed networkdocumentation and diagrams to support operational and design activities. Security Firewall Experience (30%) Fortinet Solutions: Deploy and manage Fortinetfirewall solutions to protect the network from threats. Cisco Firewalls: Utilize Cisco firewalltechnologies to enhance network security. Checkpoint Firewalls: Implement and manageCheckpoint firewall solutions as part of the security infrastructure. Incident Response: Respond to and mitigatesecurity incidents, ensuring minimal impact on network performance. Security Policies: Develop and enforce securitypolicies and procedures to safeguard network infrastructure. Collaboration and Design Low-Level Designs (LLD): Collaborate withNetwork Architects to produce Low-Level Designs, ensuring alignment withoverall network architecture. Project Support: Support the separation andmigration project, ensuring seamless transitions and minimal disruption toservices. Team Collaboration: Work closely withcross-functional teams to implement network solutions and resolve issues. Daily Operations Network Maintenance: Perform regularmaintenance tasks, including software updates, hardware replacements, andconfiguration changes. Performance Optimization: Analyze networkperformance data to identify and address bottlenecks and inefficiencies. User Support: Provide technical support tointernal teams and customers, resolving network-related issues promptly. After-Hours Work: Be available for after-hourswork as required ( What you'll need to succeed Minimumof 3 years of operations experience. Atleast 2 years of design experience, producing LLDs and working under Network orPrincipal Architects. Strongknowledge of routing and switching technologies. Provenexperience with security firewall solutions, particularly Fortinet, Cisco, andCheckpoint. Essentialexperience with Cisco Routing and Switching Essential experience with protocolsBGP,OSPF, MPLS Flexibilityto handle after-hours work when necessary.
