Job Overview As Ministerial Executive Assistant, you will:
Provide high level executive and administrative assistance to the Minister, including management of diaries, emails, in trays, office supplies and travel, as well as invoice management for the Office. Record and oversee the timely movement and processing of Department briefings, submissions, reporting requirements and actions whilst maintaining effective security over confidential and sensitive records and documentation. Assist in developing and producing correspondence, ministerial and other high-level documentation whilst maintaining quality control. Maintain strong and effective relationships with all levels of staff within the Office of the Chief Minister, NTG agencies, and outside stakeholders. Undertake assigned projects and related tasks as required. Qualifications Someone with:
Experience in providing a range of executive, secretarial, IT and broad administrative support services in a fast paced and dynamic environment. High level interpersonal and communication skills including effective leadership, negotiation, consultation and facilitation skills. Strong computer literacy including the use of records management and data systems to coordinate and track information flow. Strong written communication with attention to detail and the ability to effectively communicate key messages to a diverse range of stakeholders. Demonstrated ability to operate astutely in a politically sensitive environment with a high level of integrity, discretion and confidentiality. Ability to remain calm under pressure and a willingness to work out of hours and to travel if required. Experience using Microsoft Office Suite and NT Government systems such as NTG Pay and TRIPS is preferred.
