About the Role
We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Inpatient Admin Officer to join our dedicated healthcare team. In this role, you will provide essential clerical and administrative support that directly contributes to the smooth running of patient care, bed management, and ward administration. Working closely with clinical and nursing staff, you will assist in the coordination of patient admissions, transfers, and discharges, ensuring all processes are managed efficiently and effectively. You will also be responsible for training new ward clerks and fostering a collaborative, team-oriented environment that supports quality patient care.
As part of your responsibilities, you will liaise with various hospital departments, ensuring seamless communication and timely delivery of services. Your role is crucial in supporting both clinical and non-clinical staff to maintain a high standard of care, helping to ensure that patients receive the best possible experience during their time in the hospital.
