This includes through monitoring and assurance activities, project support, product signoffs, and strategic direction-setting. Description So, what's the job? You'll become a trusted adviser to the APAC businesses You'll review and challenge business self-assessments on operational risk You'll update and maintain compliance obligation matrices You'll assist projects in the delivery of change artefacts into the business You'll oversee design and operating effectiveness testing for business units You'll help implement key findings from organisational risk culture survey You'll design necessary risk and compliance frameworks for business activity You'll assess Operational Incidents under RG78 You'll review local policies and standards for completeness and accuracy You'll review RG146 compliance training scripts for authorised reps You'll liaise with other Australian entities within the Zurich Group You'll maintain high-standard, clear stakeholder communication And what are we looking for? You'll have 8-10 years risk management (preferred) and/or compliance background You'll have some experience with the insurance sector, with some knowledge of sales and distribution channels, marketing, Underwriting and Product in financial services preferred. You'll have relevant qualifications in law, accountancy, business, commerce or equivalent You'll have strong working knowledge of the financial service’s regulatory environment in Australia You'll have familiarity with ASIC AFSL framework and obligations a plus You'll have comfort in interacting with, and presenting to, management You'll have Microsoft Office skills (incl. Excel, Power point, Visio and Word) You'll have attention to detail and discipline You'll be solution orientated and interested in improving processes You'll have s trong verbal and written communication skills So, why choose us?
