Director of Nursing / Clinical Nurse ManagerRuralHealthWest Vacancies – Esperance WAPermanentWe are seeking a healthcare professional with proven leadership ability to head up our clinical, care and environment team across our 94 bed (increasing to 114 beds) single site, residential aged care home.About the roleReporting to a Chief Executive Officer, this position will:Oversee the delivery of high quality, best practice care and servicesMaintain compliance with regulatory standardsDevelop, implement and review policies and procedures in line with best practice clinical careImplement and evaluate Quality Assurance and Continuous Improvement measures and clinical auditsManage resident admissions in a timely manner including associated assessments and documentationProvide effective leadership, mentoring and support to direct reports and contribute positively to overall facility morale, motivation, and performancePlan and implement staff training and developmentExperience & Qualifications: Current AHPRA registration as a Registered NurseMinimum 5 years' experience in a clinical management/leadership roleUnderstanding of the requirements of the Aged Care Act and StandardsSound knowledge and application of all fees, charges and funding relevant to a Commonwealth subsidised residential aged care including ACFIExperience managing multi-disciplinary teams, including Personal Care Workers and Registered NursesPrevious experience of gerontic and/or palliative nursingDementia specific trainingUnderstanding of Work Health and Safety guidelines and legislationExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsCurrent Police ClearanceExperience with aged care specific software e.g.LeeCareUnderstanding of rostering and budgetingWhat's on offer: Competitive salary dependent on experienceAccess to generous salary sacrificing options of up to $15,900 p/aWe are not-for-profit and focused on excellent careA safe and healthy regional living environment #J-18808-Ljbffr
