As our SEO Growth Manager you will be responsible for: Leading our SEO function, driving strategy, execution, and innovation while managing a small team. You'll ensure customer-first, best-in-class SEO strategies, integrate SEO into broader marketing efforts, and deliver measurable growth for clients.
Key Responsibilities: Lead our growing SEO business unit – develop and execute end-to-end SEO strategies and tactics aligned with client business goals. Identify opportunities for short term gains Vs longer term growth for clients in a wide range of industries. Manage multiple SEO projects at once in a dynamic and fast-paced environment – manage own time and team resources; plan and review effort vs capacity in sprints. Manage a small team – mentoring, training, reviewing work, anticipating issues and mitigating risks. Deliver performance analysis reporting as well as industry insights and trends. Actively stay across new industry updates and share updates and insights with the team and clients. Generously share knowledge with team mates and client partners. The ideal candidate: A bachelor's degree in a relevant field. 5-6 years+ experience working in SEO or on small and large websites within multiple verticals. Expert level understanding of search engine algorithms and ranking factors. Proficiency in technical SEO including site structure, page speed, page crawling, foundational SEO, impediments to indexing, asset optimisation. Excellent keyword research, creating thematic clusters and using keyword data to inform SEO strategy. Expert webpage, copy and content optimisation skills. Foundational understanding of how websites are created and common content management systems such as: WordPress, Shopify. Understanding of core web metrics and the role UX plays in SEO success. Local SEO and Google business profile optimisation. An understanding of backlinking and how to identify linking opportunities. Strong in tools including: Screaming Frog, SEMRush, ahrefs, Google Search Console, Google Analytics, Looker Studio. Open to Australian residents only.
