About the opportunity (Female candidates only)
Due to our strategic growth, we are looking to appoint a Female Team Leader who is experienced, passionate, and dedicated to making a difference. This is an administrative /hands on focused role where you will be responsible for the effective and safe running of our sites.
You will undertake the following responsibilities.

* We are seeking permanent full-time or part-time Disability Support Workers team leader who have experience in supporting participants with highly complex needs.
* You will work in Supported Disability Accommodation to support those with medical needs and manual handling requirements to live in an environment that maximises personal growth and independence.

* Previous Team Leader experience is desirable.
* Experience in administration, rostering staff, liaising with stakeholders.
About the candidate
This role will be site based and requires someone with strong leadership and organisational skills. We are looking for a person with the ability to prioritise, meet deadlines and manage teams.

* Must be able to work outside of operational hours when required e.g. (weekends, sleepovers & active nights, if required)
* Demonstrated ability to engage with client stakeholders and maintain positive relationships with families, guardians and care team.
* Strong administrative skills - computing, reporting, and rosters etc.
* Experience in conflict management.
* Medication administration.
* WHS Compliance management.
Mandatory requirement
* Cert III or higher in Disability Services or 12months experience
* Preference will be given to candidates with SIL accommodation experience
* NDIS Worker Screening Check
* NDIS Orientation module (NDIS Quality Safety & You)
* Working with Children Check (underage participants only)
* Driver’s Licence
* Reliable vehicle
* Comprehensive Vehicle Insurance
Additional skillset:
* Experience with Autism & complex behaviours
* Personal care experience
* Must be available for sleep over shifts.
* At least 1 year as a DSW in NDIS sector
* Must have current CPR and First Aid and practice
