As the Assistant Manager of this dedicated team, you will play a pivotal role in creating a welcoming atmosphere and delightful shopping environment for customers. You will support your team through coaching and development to achieve results of a high standard, all while leading by example to inspire others.
Key Responsibilities:
Leadership and Team Management: Assist the Store Manager in achieving sales targets, managing stock levels, and maintaining store visual merchandising standards.
Operational Efficiency: Coordinate daily operations, including opening and closing procedures, to ensure seamless customer experience.
Customer Service: Deliver exceptional customer service, addressing customer queries and concerns in a professional manner.
Inventory Management: Monitor and control inventory levels, minimizing stock discrepancies and optimizing storage space.
Visual Merchandising: Collaborate with the Visual Merchandising team to maintain store displays and presentation standards.
Performance Metrics: Analyze sales data, customer feedback, and other key performance indicators to identify areas for improvement.
Requirements:
* A minimum of 2 years retail management experience.
* Proven experience achieving budgets, targets, and KPIs.
* Strong operational and organisational skills.
* Experience handling high stock volumes.
* Visual merchandising exposure.
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
* An agile personality and enthusiasm.
* Experience delivering exceptional customer service, as well as implementing strategies to enhance customer satisfaction.
