About this role Permanent full-time role. Teralba based providing additional support in region as required Ongoing training & development Work for the world's leading sustainable building materials company Holcim is currently looking for a Relief Production Supervisor, based out of their plant located at Teralba. In addition, this role will provide additional support to other plants in the region, as operationally needed. This role involves a mix of manual handling, logistics coordination, staff management and administration. Roles in Concrete Plants are fast paced and will require you to be a strong problem solver, process driven with a high level of attention to detail. The role offers the opportunity to gain valuable experience in a busy operational environment. You would normally start work around 05:30am and there would be a requirement to work some Saturdays (as needed). Duties and responsibilities: Supporting and displaying a strong safety culture at all times Production of concrete using multiple systems and processes Allocating and assigning loads to drivers Stock management and coordination of deliveries Managing contractors carrying out site maintenance Yard maintenance and front-end loader operation Forklift operation and manual handling of bagged products Administration on a variety of computer software applications (training is provided on these) Ideally, it would be great if you hold a current forklift ticket and have experience operating a front-end loader. However, we are more than happy to train & facilitate you obtaining these qualifications. Additionally, as the role will be supporting other plants within the region, it is essential that you have your own reliable vehicle. You will be paid an allowance per KM when you are required to travel outside your base plant location. Why join Holcim?
