The project will connect the Eastern Freeway to the M80 Ring Road with new twin tunnels, taking 15,000 trucks a day off local roads, slashing travel times by up to 35 minutes and creating new open spaces and walking and cycling connections for local communities.About the roleWe are currently seeking a Health And Safety Advisor to join us on the Eastern Freeway Burke to Tram Alliance. This is your opportunity to contribute to the largest ever investment in Melbourne's Eastern Freeway network. You will support the implementation of the projects Health & Safety Management Plan and ensure “best for project” outcomes are achieved.Key responsibilitiesProactively deal with HSE concerns by engaging with the people performing the task or activity.Supervise and mentor accident investigations.Conduct risk assessment workshops.Ensure HSE standards are understood and upheld.Monitor and conduct regular HSE governance checks.Conduct investigations.Facilitate toolbox talks and inductions.About youCertificate IV in OHS or working toward one with prior tier 1 experience preferable.Reports and systems knowledge with the ability to utilise technology.ICAM, RRTWC, RIW preferred.Hands-on experience in assisting supervision and management with HSE issue/action closeout within the workplace.We work hard to create an environment that brings out the best in our people.
