This is a unique opportunity to work as part of the Social Work leadership team, advancing your clinical expertise whilst also utilising and developing your leadership skills. The Senior Clinical Social Worker will work alongside the dedicated Social Work Site Senior for Frankston Hospital, to provide consultation, supervision and regular support to a dedicated and dynamic team of Social Workers. You will be supported to participate in professional development, quality initiatives and represent Social Work in a range of meetings and committees.This is a permanent, full time Senior Clinical Social Work role based at Frankston Hospital. The Senior Social Worker will have opportunity to provide Social Work services to a designated area of clinical responsibility within the acute setting, with current opportunity to work on a neurological and general medicine ward. The Senior Clinical Social Worker will also provide operational and leadership support to the Frankston Hospital Social Work team, in collaboration with Senior colleagues. This will include providing consultation, supervision and guidance to Grade 1 Social Workers on rotation, Grade 2 Social Workers as well as Social Work students. The Senior Clinical Social Worker will demonstrate confidence in representing Social Work and Allied Health and will lead collaborative practice in multi-disciplinary teams, meetings and committees.Minimum Requirements You will need to hold a Bachelor Degree or Qualifying Masters in Social Work and a minimum of seven years of relevant work experience post graduation. Post graduate studies are highly regarded and may be eligible for a higher education allowance.As a multi-site organisation you may be required to work across sites.
