About the Role:
The Academic Proctor role is a customer-facing role providing excellent customer service to a high volume of external and internal clients. The level of service this role provides to the client base will contribute to Melbourne Polytechnic’s reputation and market position as a Pearson Centre of choice and preferred service provider.
The central role of the Academic Proctor is to ensure the fair and proper delivery of the Pearson Test of English (PTE), in accordance with Pearson VUE and Melbourne Polytechnic requirements and procedures, while creating a testing environment that enables candidates to perform to the best of their ability.
The Academic Proctor performs administration of the testing services under strict compliance guidelines including the onboarding, invigilation and closing of tests.
Duties:
* The Academic Proctor is responsible for providing excellent customer service (including
complaint resolution) to a high volume of external and internal clients to ensure testing clients
are registered for testing, scheduled for testing and to ensure testing days are a positive
experience for clients.
* Actively supervise and coordinate all aspects of a test session, including customer admission,
sign-in and test delivery
* General administration and office related tasks

Skills and Experience Required:
* A current Working with Children Check Card (Employee).
* Demonstrated experience in collaborating with colleagues in a customer service environment
including the ability to contribute positively and collaborate well as a team member.
* Demonstrated excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
