Northam Senior High School (SHS) is seeking a highly motivated, experienced Teacher - Science committed to achieving outstanding educational outcomes for all students.

Northam SHS caters for a diverse range of students. The successful applicant will possess effective teaching, learning, assessment and behaviour management practices and a strong understanding of the Science curriculum. Ideally, you will also have displayed excellence as a teacher in a range of courses including those designed to cater for low literacy and SAER students, through to ATAR Science courses.
Northam SHS has embarked on the WA Positive Behaviour School program (PBS) so an understanding of this process and how it is implemented and embedded in the day-to-day operations and behaviours in the school would be regarded.
The school has also commenced an Instructional Strategies Framework so a deep understanding of excellent and engaging teaching strategies along with the ability to coach staff to make these part of their practice would be valued.
