The Opportunity
We have a fantastic opportunity for a standout Facilities Manager to join the NSW Logistics team, overseeing a portfolio of properties in Western Sydney.
In this role, you will be responsible for planning and coordinating the facilities management of the Asset whilst containing expenditure within budget. While also ensuring proper and efficient operation of the asset's physical aspects, as well as creating and sustaining a safe and functional environment for the occupants.
Your tasks will include:
1. Assuming responsibility for the operation and presentation of the asset(s).
2. Manage the supply chain ensuring agreed standards of service delivery are met and the delivery of the service is cost effective.
3. Assist with operational and capital expenditure budgets.
4. Co-ordinate capital works including tenancy delivery and small projects.
5. Build and maintain strong relationships with all the key asset stakeholder groups.
6. Ensure the asset always remains fully compliant and manage remedial actions within the determined timeframes. Including, but not limited to, annual fire certification, vertical transport, cooling towers, roof safety, WH&S and plant registration where applicable.
7. Co-ordinate and drive improvement programs to optimise the asset(s) waste and energy, and water usage.
8. Take a proactive role in ensuring full compliance with relevant Operational Risk procedures.
9. Ensure understanding of applicable contractor management procedures including inductions, WH&S and recording attendance via the Sine Pro system.
To be successful in this role you:
10. Diploma of Facilities/Project Management/ or trade qualified (desired).
11. 3 years Facilities Management or Facilities Co-ordination experience.
12. Proven experience in customer service and managing effective relationships with commercial tenants.
13. Experience in managing budgets, purchase order creation and contracts administration.
14. Exposure and understanding of maintenance planning principles and Methodology.
15. Sound knowledge of WH&S and legislative compliance and practices.
16. Strong organizational and time management skills.
17. Good written and verbal communication skills.
